Summer and autumn 2012
Just a quick email to let you all know a few things about the gallery before our summer break. Firstly, we will be closed for the whole of August. We'll be opening again in mid September. Anyone wanting to view works that we have in stock can make an appointment to come to the gallery. In early August though, we'll be on holiday so not available at all until the 14th August.
Our autumn programme opens with a gallery retrospective to mark our fifth anniversary. We'll be showing artworks from many of the diverse group of artists we have shown during our five year journey. The private view will have a different flavour to it. We'll let you know the details nearer the time.
In October they'll be the long awaited solo show by Guy Denning, 'Paradiso'. It's been a few years since Guy's last London solo show. 'Paradiso' is the third part of his Dante's Inferno trilogy of shows, the first two having taken place in New York and Italy.
In November Dale Grimshaw's next solo show promises to be a stunner. Entited 'Moreish' there will be the usual mix of emotional punch and stunning painting.
Let me wish everyone a great rest of this Olympic summer.
In the meantime Barbara Steinberg's excellent exhibition is still open till the Saturday 27th July. If you're in the area, please pop in and catch the show.
