Shepard Fairey
Shepard Fairey is one of the iconic figures of the street art scene in the USA. His fame and appeal are now international. His portrait of Obama which was used during the his election campaign, sealed his place in art history.
Shepard Fairey couldn't resist the request to be part of our 'Beyond Punk' exhibition in August 2010. As a massive fan of British punk, he was delighted to be sharing the walls with the likes of Adam Ant, Poly Styrene, Gaye Advert, Steve Ignorant and Charlie Harper. Since then he has been happy to take part in projects with the gallery.
