Jonathan Darby
Jonathan Darby has found a place in the UK art scene very soon after graduating from St Martin's College of Art in 2009. His touching and powerful work, uses a range of techniques including painting, collage, and stencil work to produce his haunting images.
We discovered Jonathan's work at his graduation show and immediately offered to show his work. His first solo show in 2010 was a huge success. In his second solo show at the gallery, Favela, Jonathan created a whole Brazilian world in the gallery, which proved to be an ideal setting for another superb body of work. He was asked to reproduce some of this installation in San Francisco and Glastonbury Festival.
Jonathan is currently in Mozambique taking part in a very interesting project using art to help children to understand the dangers of HIV/AIDS.
